An eighth of a beef is a super option for those with limited freezer space, smaller appetites or wanting to budget food purchases in smaller installments. The 40 pounds of beef comes in two brown paper grocery sacks and will fit in the freezer portion of a standard refrigerator with room to spare. There is a great variety of about eight pounds of steaks (ribeye, NY strip, filet, sirloin, round and cube), roasts (chuck, arm, rump and sirloin tip) of around 9 pounds, ground beef weighing ~ 20 pounds (at least 90% lean) and about 3 pounds of beef stew meat. After the $150 deposit, the balance due (payable by cash or check) at pick-up/delivery will be $350.
